A little over a week ago, I had the opportunity with Roberts Camera and the Indiana Fuel to lead a Sports Photography workshop.  Myself and a group of 16 individuals went to photograph a Indiana Fuel hockey game vs the Cincinnati Cyclones.  It was a fantastic game, even though I think most of us wished that the Fuel had played a little better.

It’s not the first sports photography workshop I’ve led, in fact we usually do one with the Indy Eleven and we are even talking about trying to do basketball and football ones this season also.  That’s my shot above.  I shot more of John the IndyFuel Photographer wearing his helmet than of the game, so I got really lucky with that shot.  Wish the puck was a little further outside of the glove too, but I could find a reason to complain about any photo I’ve taken.  Anyway, enough rambling.  Check Roberts camera’s education page for more workshops coming up of all kinds!  And now check out some of the shots from the students at the Fuel game!
